Prototypes: Product Redesign Concepts

UX Design

Before launching the redesigned customer portal, we spent some time brainstorming new and different ways an advertiser could monitor, interact, and change different facets of their business. These concepts show some features that made it to production and some that haven't yet had the chance.

Publish Page

The profiles page allowed the advertiser to edit all kinds of information related to their business from basic information like address, phone number, and hours of operation to more robust information like accreditations, payment types accepted, and social media links. The idea for this page was centered around "modules" of information that could be removed, added, re-ordered, or even used in other data-collecting products.

When information on your profile page was updated, the information would be syndicated to over 60 different publishers automatically to prevent the tedious chore of changing it on every site manually. Advertisers would be able to see the progress they've made in completing their profile and the status of their business information after the update.

The prototype guides users through the process of adding hours of operation to their business profile, subsequently increasing their profile strength from 65% to 70%.

Advertisers could connect their social accounts like Facebook and Twitter and monitor activity on those pages from likes to comments. Additionally, they would be able to respond directly to consumers leaving comments on their page as well as post brand new content to engage audiences.
